Using AI-generated loops
Loops from moebia are created by an AI system and marked as AI-generated. Here is how to keep it that way when you use them.
Keep the marks
The MP4 and the poster carry signed provenance information and an invisible watermark. Please do not remove them. Cropping, scaling, compressing and converting are allowed; some tools and content management systems drop the metadata in the process, while the watermark usually survives. You can use our free check to see whether an edited file is still marked.
HTML embed
The origin statement is in the head of the file. Leave it in place when you embed the loop on your website.
Disclose where required
If you use a loop in a professional capacity and it could be taken for a real recording of a real person, product, place or event, you must disclose to viewers that it is AI-generated, at the latest when they first see it, for example with an "AI-generated" caption next to the loop. The machine-readable mark is not enough for this. Advertising does not automatically count as an artistic work. This obligation does not apply to purely private use.
